Divorce Fixed Fee

We offer a fixed fee for divorce. The fixed fee covers all the work necessary to prepare the documents required to obtain for you a decree absolute in the case of an undefended divorce where your spouse co-operates with the Court.

We reserve the right to make an additional charge should the divorce be defended or the Court have difficulty in locating your spouse. This is because in these cases there will be additional work necessary to obtain a decree absolute for you.

We will meet with you several times throughout the divorce process and additionally be available to answer any questions which you may have outside our usual working hours. This is because we know that divorce is a stressful time and questions can come into your mind outside the usual office hours. Our objective is to try and make your experience as painless as possible.

It is important to recognise that your legal costs incurred in obtaining your divorce may be paid by your spouse (including our fees) if the petition is completed correctly and the Court then proceeds to make a Costs Order in your favour. This means that it is entirely possible that your spouse pays your legal fees.

Fees on Children and Financial Matters

Please note that our fixed fee for divorce does not include any work that we carry out in connection with resolving financial matters or the arrangements for your children.
